App Preview Video
An app preview video is a short autoplaying clip on your product page that demonstrates the app in action and can lift conversion when done well.
An app preview video is a 15–30 second clip that autoplays (muted) at the top of your product page, showing the actual app experience. On the App Store you can include up to three; on Google Play, a single promo video.
Because it autoplays, the first few seconds must communicate the core value instantly — captured screen recordings of the real product convert better than abstract brand montages. A weak or slow video can actually depress conversion versus screenshots alone, so it should always be tested.
Used well, video is most effective for apps whose value is motion-based or hard to convey in a still: games, editing tools, and interactive experiences.
