Deep Linking

Deep linking sends users to a specific screen inside an app rather than its home page, improving conversion and re-engagement.

A deep link is a URL that opens a specific location inside an app — a product, an article, a saved playlist — rather than just launching it to the default screen. Deferred deep links extend this to users who don’t yet have the app: they install first, then land directly on the intended content.

For growth, deep linking sharpens message-match (an ad for a specific product opens that product), which lifts conversion and retention. It also powers re-engagement campaigns, referrals, and shared content.

On the discovery side, well-structured links and app indexing help search engines and AI assistants surface in-app content, expanding where your app can be found.
