App Subtitle
The App Store subtitle is a 30-character line under your title that supports both keyword ranking and conversion messaging.
The subtitle is a 30-character field that appears directly below your app title on the App Store. It serves double duty: every word is indexed for keyword ranking, and it’s prominent enough to shape a user’s first impression.
The best subtitles weave secondary keywords into a benefit-led phrase a human actually wants to read — for example, “Habit tracker & daily planner.” Avoid repeating words already in your title, since duplication wastes indexing space.
Google Play has no exact equivalent; its closest counterpart is the short description, which is weighted for both ranking and conversion.
